There is 1MB of VRAM soldered on the motherboard. There are three 1MB VRAM DIMM sockets which, combined with the motherboard VRAM, are configured as two 2MB banks.
There are three possible configurations:
-- 1/2 Bank ( 1MB, 32-bit data path )
-- 1 Bank ( 2MB, 64-bit data path )
-- 2 Banks ( 4MB, 64-bit data path ).
This computer has built-in hardware for acceleration of some Quickdraw functions.
